Fairchild Equipment becomes five-time MVP

Fairchild Equipment has been awarded the prestigious Most Valuable Partner (MVP) Award for 2019, based on accomplishments in 2018. This is the fifth time that Fairchild Equipment has earned an MVP Award from the industry’s trade association, Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association (MHEDA).

“This is a great accomplishment for our organization. To win the award once takes hard work and dedication, to win it five consecutive years demonstrates the consistency of our team,” said Chad Fairchild, Chief Executive Officer for Fairchild Equipment.

Award recipients must satisfy a rigorous set of criteria with less than 10% of the association’s membership earning the award. As a 2019 MVP, Fairchild Equipment has successfully demonstrated a commitment to business excellence, professionalism and good stewardship.

To qualify for the annual MVP Award companies are required to provide evidence of their commitment to their partners in business including their customers, employees and suppliers. They must satisfy criteria in the following important areas:
• Community Involvement & Give Back
• Industry Advocacy
• Customer Service & Safety Practices
• Business Networking
• Continuing Education
• Business Best Practices

“Being a MHEDA MVP is quite an honor; for one, it places us in an elite-class among our industry peers, but it also validates our employee’s efforts that exemplify our core values that are our people, our customers and our solutions,” said Van Clarkson, Fairchild Equipment President and MHEDA Board Member. Clarkson added, “We have taken great strides to integrate core values into our business operation that promote safety, our Customers for Life initiative, community stewardship, work and life balance or ‘family first’ and creating a culture of accomplishment.”

“MHEDA MVP winners are among an elite group of distributors that have reached a pinnacle of the best service to customers combined with industry leading business practices,” said Doug Carson, 2018 MHEDA Chairman of the Board and VP of Marketing & Sales for Fallsway Equipment Company in Akron, OH.
