Crown Equipment Corporation recently recognized the outstanding performance and commitment to customer service by its best North American company-owned branches and independent dealers.

The most prestigious honor bestowed by Crown Equipment is the James F. Dicke Pioneer award, which is named after the company’s founder. Material Handling Supply of Pennsauken, New Jersey, and Crown Lift Trucks, Evansville, Indiana, each earned this recognition as Crown’s best performing dealer and branch, respectively. This is the first time each organization earned the Pioneer award after earning other recognition from Crown in prior years.

“Earning honors such as this requires a team effort, and we’ve got one of the best teams in the country,” noted Andy Levin, owner, Material Handling Supply. “We believe in Crown products and our customers appreciate the innovative material handling solutions Crown provides.”

The total team effort concept was echoed by David Smith, branch manager, Crown Lift Trucks in Evansville, who added, “We are honored to have Crown recognize our branch. It’s confirmation for our employees that their dedication every single day to provide our customers with great service is paying off.”

In addition to the Pioneer awards, Crown recognized additional winners with Summit and Ascent Awards for outstanding sales and customer satisfaction achievements. The Ascent Award recognizes branches and dealers that performed well and are continuing to move toward the summit. Honorees included:
