Crown Equipment dealer invests in new, larger facility

Material Handling Supply, a longtime Crown Equipment Corporation lift truck dealer, recently moved into a larger facility to expand their services and support customers in southern New Jersey, eastern Philadelphia, Delaware and the eastern shore of Maryland. The new facility, which is twice as large as the previous facility, features a 50-person technician training area. The training center, which is separated from the front office and warehouse space, gives Material Handling Supply the focused training environment needed to conduct large-scale training and potentially host Crown’s Demonstrated Performance® TrainSafe train-the-trainer training.

“Material Handling Supply has been a Crown independent dealer since 1975. That relationship has only gotten stronger as our business continues to grow,” said Brett Levin, vice president, Material Handling Supply. “The support we get from Crown, along with the dedication of our staff, allows us to continue to meet the growing needs of our customers.”

The facility at 6965 Airport Highway Lane in Pennsauken, New Jersey, will provide customers with a complete selection of Crown forklifts, warehouse design services and the Integrity Parts and Service System. Crown’s InfoLink® fleet management system, which enables fleet managers to wirelessly stay connected to their fleet and operators, will also be available.

“Crown’s reputation for customer service is much attributed to the commitment and professionalism of our strong branch and dealer network,” said Jim Mozer, senior vice president, Crown Equipment. “Material Handling Supply is one of those independent dealers that excels at providing a vital link to our customers that allow us to work closely with them to help them get the most out of their fleet.”

Earlier this year, Material Handling Supply earned Crown’s Summit Award, which recognizes company-owned branches and independent dealers that exceeded performance criteria and demonstrated sincere commitment to providing customers with the right material handling equipment and technology to help control costs, improve safety and enhance energy efficiency.
