TVH offers new LED warning light

Listen to this article

TVH in the Americas (TVH), provider of replacement parts and accessories for the material handling and industrial equipment industry, is now offering Red LED Area Warning Lights. Almost 40% of all forklift accidents involve a pedestrian and these lights emit a bright red line on the ground to warn pedestrians that the area is not safe. The Red LED Area Warning Light helps to ensure a safer work environment by preventing foot injuries, collisions from rear end swing as well as show the danger zone around mobile equipment.

With a light output of 1,200 Lumens, the Red LED Area Warning Light has five 3 Watt LEDs, and a voltage range of 12-64VDC. It is 6 inches long, 2.3 inches high and 2.5 inches wide. Included with the light is the mounting hardware as well as a Deutsch connector and it comes with a two year warranty.

These lights are designed to be mounted on the sides of the forklift but can also be mounted to the rear or front to create a complete zone. Each side of the forklift you want to protect will require one warning light. The Red LED Area Warning Light is easy to install, simply remove the double sided tape backing and press it to the top of the cage box. Finally, use the zip ties to help keep it in place.
