HighJump, a global provider of supply chain network solutions, announced that Rheem Mexico has selected the HighJump warehouse management system to optimize its operations. Rheem Mexico produces industrial and home heaters and coolers, as well as commercial refrigeration products.

HighJump’s warehouse management system (WMS) will be implemented in Rheem’s distribution center in Central Mexico. From its facility in Mexico City, Rheem fulfills outbound orders to many distribution channels through Mexico and Central America.

Rheem recently began a search for a warehouse management system as part of its commitment to continuous process improvement and satisfaction of customer quality and service needs. “We selected HighJump because of its strong reputation in the marketplace, successful applications in the manufacturing and consumer goods industries, and full suite of supply chain execution solutions,” said Rolando Quintanilla, general manager (CDO) at Rheem.

Manufacturers and consumer goods distributors face many challenges including regulatory guidelines and multiple distribution channels. HighJump´s WMS will enable Rheem to satisfy these demands while providing out-of-the-box functionality aimed to increase productivity, accuracy, and end-to-end visibility. The company plans to utilize the HighJump WMS to provide real-time visibility to all of its inventories, including finished goods, packaging, and distribution. Additionally, the solution will provide full serial number track and trace capabilities in near real-time and help the company reduce operational expenses.

“At Rheem, we place a lot of value on informed decision-making,” said Alberto Garza, manager of supply chain and logistics, Rheem Mexico. “The HighJump system will collect essential data and provide us with user-friendly tools to analyze and present that data in meaningful ways, facilitating and expediting improved business decisions.”

“The HighJump WMS is uniquely positioned to help manufacturing and consumer goods companies,” said David Houser, senior vice president of international sales at HighJump. “We look forward to working with Rheem to help them improve their operations.”
