These include the Solar Bolt™ and Solar Dash™:

• The Solar Bolt is a supplemental liftgate charging system that uses solar energy to help keep liftgate and auxiliary batteries charged.
• The Solar Dash is a solar-powered battery charger that was created to sit on the dashboard of a vehicle to help counter parasitic loads—especially useful when vehicles are parked for extended periods of time.

As solar power increases in importance in the trucking industry, Purkeys and other solar industry leaders continuously look to innovate new ways to harness solar energy to benefit heavy-duty vehicles.
