Larson Electronics, a company that specializes in industrial grade lighting solutions, has announced the release of a four foot, six lamp lay-in panel light equipped with a rear access panel for quick servicing.

The HAL-RA-48-6L-T5HO-480V hazardous area light fixture from Larson Electronics is a Class 1 Division 2 low profile lay-in panel fixture that is ideal for paint spray booths and other hazardous locations where mounting space is limited. The housing on this rear access fixture is constructed of twenty gauge steel with a white baked enamel finish, creating a durable, highly reflective finish. A 3/16” clear tempered glass lens provides protection for the included fifty-four watt T5HO lamps. The lamps in the fixture provide 5,000 lumens per lamp, providing a total of 30,000 lumens of light.

This rear access hazardous area light fixture carries a T3C temperature rating, is UL 844 listed, as well as UL 1598 listed for use in damp locations. It is designed for recess mounting and requires a hole to be made in booth panels capable of accommodating the fixture housing. A hinged door rear access panel allows operators to maintain the fixture outside of the spray booth. This hazardous location light is designed to operate on 347-480 volts AC and a single ½” threaded NPT hub allows operators to bring power to the fixture. This fixture provides operators in hazardous locations with a reliable and durable, low profile lighting solution where space is at a premium.

“Our new hazardous location light fixture features a rear access panel design to simplify maintenance, allowing the fixture to be serviced outside of the paint booth,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics. “This high voltage light fixture is UL and ETL certified for Canada and the United States.”
