Janam Technologies LLC, provider of rugged mobile computers that scan barcodes and communicate wirelessly, announced that Kelli’s Gift Shop Suppliers, wholesale distributor of gift products, has deployed XG3 rugged mobile computers from Janam to optimize its distribution center operations.

Serving hospital and other specialty gift shops nationwide, Kelli’s Gift Shop Suppliers offers more than 4,000 items from more than 700 vendors. To increase customer satisfaction and loyalty, the company prioritizes fast delivery and exemplary customer service. With employees scanning approximately 20,000 items per day, Janam’s XG3 rugged mobile computer plays a critical role in maximizing efficiency and providing visibility into distribution processes within Kelli’s warehouse management operations.

KEY FACTS

· After years of success with Janam’s XG105 rugged mobile computers, Kelli’s Gift Shop Suppliers transitioned to the faster, lighter and more powerful XG3 to improve its receiving, put-away, order-picking and replenishment processes.

· The XG3 enables Kelli’s to better balance workloads, electronically assign orders and quickly obtain business-critical information to make real-time decisions that ultimately improve customer satisfaction and the bottom line.

· Delivering industry-leading battery life with a standard 5200mAh hot-swappable Li-ion battery, the XG3 provides Kelli’s Gift Shop Suppliers with uninterrupted operation throughout the workday.

·  Eliminating the weight and bulk associated with competitive devices, the industrial-grade XG3 is the lightest device in its class. The XG3 survives multiple six-foot drops to concrete on all sides across a full range of temperatures and is sealed to IP65 standards for use in wet and dirty environments.
