Shut It Face Mount Hinges from D&D Technologies gives the fencing market a no-maintenance, 180-degree-swing hinge and flexible mounting options

D&D Technologies, the global provider in high-performance gate hardware, has introduced the Face Mount gate hinge to its line of Shut It industrial gate hardware.  The Face Mount opens to a full 180 degrees for unobstructed pass through and is available in bolt-on or weld-on models.

“This innovative extension of our popular Shut It line of hinges solves many challenges that installers face on nearly every job,” says Jim Paterson, D&D’s vice president of sales and marketing. “Its price point makes it attractive to the end customer, which reduces installer stress during the quoting and bidding phase; its adjustability and durability means almost no call backs and replacements once installed; and its 180-degree swing and tight mounting capability deliver performance and clean aesthetics.”

Face Mount gate hinges are manufactured with the industry’s first maintenance-free high-temperature sealed bearings, which are safe to powder coat with the hinges installed on the gate. They are horizontally adjustable for perfect installations and proper gate movement, and the Face Mount’s adjustability enables gate gaps as small as 1/2 “ for an aesthetic appearance and heightened security.  The maximum gate weight is 1,100 lb for the Face Mount, and they have been CNC machined to the tightest tolerance in the industry with near frictionless movement. Zinc electroplating construction leads to long lasting rust and corrosion protection.  Shut It hinges have been tested to over 1 Million open / close cycles and feature a limited lifetime warranty.
