TVH in the Americas (TVH), a provider of quality replacement parts and accessories for the material handling and industrial equipment industries, hosted a bake sale to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

On October 26, 2018, TVH held a Halloween themed bake sale at its headquarters in Olathe, KS as well as in Grayslake, IL and Mira Loma, CA. Some of the other US locations hosted pot luck lunches and collected donations in lieu of a bake sale. Total, just over $2,400 was raised.

Several of our employees like Madysson Wood and Derek Divito sported pink and filled cards for whom they were wearing pink for. “I am passionate about supporting breast cancer awareness for all these women that fought and still walk with us today like my great aunt,” said Madysson.

Derek lost both of his maternal and paternal grandmothers to breast cancer and his grandmother from his mother’s second marriage is currently battling cancer. He wore pink in support of the many families that have to deal with the unfortunate outcome that breast cancer ultimately leads. Derek Divito stated “Showing support and raising awareness will hopefully find a cure and keep loved ones together longer.”
