Barclay Brand Ferdon has announced the passing of its Chairman of the Board, Robert (Bob) N. Masucci, who died on June 19th, 2026, at age 89.
Bob was a devoted father to four children and a proud grandfather to six grandchildren. Throughout his distinguished career, he demonstrated integrity, generosity, and exceptional leadership, leaving an enduring legacy that will be remembered by all who came in contact with him.
Prior to Barclay, Bob served as Chief Executive Officer of Drexel Industries until 1990. He also served on a number of boards across several industries, especially high tech. He was a member of the Board of Trustees of La Salle University and Gwynedd Mercy University. A proud graduate of La Salle University’s Class of 1961, Bob remained deeply committed to education, supporting the institutions that helped shape his life and career.
A respected business leader, Bob was known for his strong leadership, business acumen, warm personality, and ever-present sense of humor.
“Bob was far more than our chairman. He was a mentor, trusted advisor, and dear friend whose wisdom and guidance helped shape both our company and the people within it,” said Bernard E. Saxon, President and CEO of Barclay Brand Ferdon.
Memorial services will be held privately at the request of the Masucci family.
