PAC Strapping Products, highlights the FROMM A335 and A337 sealless combination tools, engineered to deliver reliable manual steel strapping performance while eliminating the need for seals. Stocked and serviced by PAC Strapping, both tools provide durable, economical solutions for operations requiring consistent load containment in demanding environments.
The FROMM A335 is a lightweight, manual, sealless steel strapping tool designed for flat-package applications such as pallets, crates, bales, cases, and bundled materials. The A335 is intended for use with steel strapping widths ranging from ½” to ¾” and thicknesses from .020” to .023”, utilizing regular-duty strapping. With an average joint efficiency of approximately 80 percent, the A335 delivers dependable load security while reducing overall strapping costs by approximately 10 percent through seal elimination. Weighing 3.9 kg (8.9 lbs), the tool is well-suited for horizontal applications where operator comfort and efficiency are critical. A torque-wrench (TW) version is also available for controlled, repeatable tensioning.
For applications requiring greater versatility and broader compatibility with strapping, the FROMM A337 offers a robust manual, sealless solution for both regular-duty and high-tensile steel strapping. The A337 accommodates strapping widths from 3/8” to ¾” and thicknesses from .015” to .025”. Featuring FROMM’s MicroLock™ sealless joint system, the A337 provides maximum security against joint unlocking while maintaining an average joint efficiency of approximately 80 percent. The tool’s closed-sealing mechanism, free-wheeling tensioning system, and adjustable cutting and sealing depth contribute to consistent performance and reduced strap-tension loss. The A337 is available in standard and torque-wrench configurations and can be equipped with optional suspension or horizontal-handling accessories.
Both the A335 and A337 are superior tools in industries where safe handling and reliable transport are essential, including manufacturing, building materials, metal processing, and distribution. Backed by PAC Strapping’s inventory availability and in-house service capabilities, these tools help customers minimize downtime while maintaining consistent strapping performance.
In addition to standard configurations, PAC Strapping helps customers select the appropriate A335 or A337 model based on strapping size, material grade, and application requirements. Customers can consult with PAC Strapping customer service or their Territory Manager to determine the most effective solution for their operation.
