Advantech, a leading provider of embedded platform solutions, is pleased to announce the new UTC-510D, a multi-purpose 10.1” interactive all-in-one touch computer. Powered by a fourth-generation Intel® Atom™ E3825 processor and equipped with up to 8 GB of DDR3L memory, UTC-510D features a 10.1” TFT LCD with 16:10 widescreen and multi-touch functionalities. The compact size and slim system design offer enhanced installation flexibility. Additionally, the UTC-510D supports multiple OS including Windows, Android, and Linux further increasing the system’s overall compatibility and flexibility. The built-in 5M camera and Wi-Fi connectivity as well as the ability to integrate diverse optional peripherals make the UTC-510D ideal for use as an HMI terminal in factories, self-service kiosk in public spaces, equipment management system, smart home application, and meeting room management system.

Excellent performance and multiple OS support at a competitive price
Powered by a fourth-generation Intel® Atom™ E3825 processor and equipped with 8 GB of DDR3L memory, the UTC-510D is a competitively priced solution that delivers excellent computing performance. The UTC-510D supports multiple OS including Windows, Android (4.4.2), and Linux further increasing the system’s overall compatibility and flexibility. Like the rest of the UTC series, the UTC-510D features a fanless system design to ensure quiet operation and reduce the accumulation of dust and foreign contaminants, thereby extending the product’s lifecycle. The system’s front panel is IP65 certified for water and dust protection, conforming to environmental specifications for industrial and commercial operation environments. Advantech’s UTC-510D also provides ultra-low power consumption for reduced costs and superior energy efficiency.

Recessed wall mounting support and customizable frame color
Advantech’s UTC-510D features a 10.1” TFT LCD with 16:10 widescreen and multi-touch functionalities.  The unique panel mount frame supports recessed wall mounting for increased installation convenience and space optimization. With recessed wall mounting, the UTC-510D front panel can be made completely flush with the surrounding wall for a truly seamless appearance, which is ideal for embedded wall applications. Additionally, because the UTC-510D is designed to be highly customizable, besides the default black and silver, the frame can be produced in any color upon request. Thus, the system appearance can be adjusted to a company’s specific color scheme in order to unify and enhance its brand image.

Multifunctional extendable features with rich peripherals
In addition to the built-in 5M camera and Wi-Fi connectivity, UTC-510D can be equipped with diverse peripherals including a magnetic strip reader, RFID reader, iBeacon module, and barcode scanner, according to specific application requirements. The removable frame attachment can also be used to integrate key peripherals and display devices for diverse application deployments in a variety of environments.

Considering the benefits described above, the UTC-510D provides a cost-effective easy-to-use solution that can be integrated with multiple intelligent peripherals to extend the system functionalities and support a wide range of operational applications.
