Continuing to expand its offerings of LED indicators for industrial control panels, LEDtronics®, Inc., introduces new additions to its family of Front-Mount Metal Panel LED Lights with screw terminals that fit mounting holes of 1 inch (25.4mm) in diameter and are sunlight-visible and non-relampable. The PTF100-0xx-028B/WP series of ultra-bright indicators with 28VDC input voltage comes with a choice of three LED colors: Aqua Green (523nm), Super Red (631nm), and Amber (592nm). With power consumption of only 0.8 watts, they are ideal replacements for outgoing incandescent units in such applications as industrial control panels, railroad or transportation control panels, manufacturing, robotics man-machine interfaces, machine tools, medical equipment such as patient exam-room status lights, HVAC control panels, and pilot lights, among many others. These new lamps feature nickel-plated brass housing and terminals, a polycarbonate fluted flat lens, a clear polycarbonate diffuser, stainless steel nuts, screws, and a lock washer, and a Nylon PA6 header. They can be front-mounted on panels up to 0.5 inch (12.7mm) thick, with a recommended mounting hole of 1.00 inch (25.4mm). Operating in a wide temperature range of -30 to +50 degrees Centigrade (-22 to +122 degrees Fahrenheit), these lights boast an IP66 protection rating—they are watertight and splash-proof for outdoor locations and produce almost no heat. Depending on the LED light color, the series lamps offer luminous intensity from 16.17 to 27.94 candelas and ultra-bright illumination ranging from 3.70 to 6.59 lumens, at a wide beam angle of 30 degrees.

The Caldwell Group Inc. has taken part in its first Junkyard Wars-inspired welding competition at Blackhawk Technical College in Rock County, Wisconsin. Caldwell provided safety glasses, hats and competition judges as Blackhawk welcomed students from across the area to its Innovative Manufacturing Education Center (IMEC) on the college’s Beloit-Janesville campus. Based on the concept of the popular television show, teams created a sculpture from scrap and reclaimed metal. This year’s theme was ‘Hometown Roots’, challenging entrants to fabricate a sculpture that reflected their hometown and what it is built on, such as identity, history, industry, or something the community is known for. Following a safety briefing, teams of four students from each school were given three hours to plan and fabricate their project. Judges carefully examined each team’s progress, judging work on craftsmanship and weld quality; creativity and interpretation of the theme; and overall presentation. Amy Garris, who oversees education outreach at Caldwell, said: “It was an honor to support Blackhawk on such a fun but important collaboration. The college has been running this competition for a few years now and it has already grown into a fantastic event where students from all over the area compete. It was inspiring to see contestants design and build practical solutions from limited materials, applying their skills in real time. The format does more than test ability; it creates energy, visibility, and a sense of achievement, helping to build both competence and confidence, while making the learning process memorable and rewarding.” Caldwell recognizes that connectivity with the education sector is central to attracting the next generation of welders and other workers in the U.S. Fabrication is fundamental to production of the company’s Rockford-made line of Caldwell-brand below-the-hook lifters, construction lifters, mill duty lifters, and Renfroe-brand clamps. Caldwell’s Garris added: “Manufacturers must increasingly set clear goals to help fuel pipelines of welders and other workers by reaching students who already have an interest in and talent for trades, but who may not yet see a direct or accessible route into industry. By connecting earlier and more meaningfully, it is possible to convert existing interest into structured pathways, sustained development, and ultimately long-term careers in manufacturing.” Following debut participation in Blackhawk Technical College’s Junkyard Wars, Caldwell has also attended the Stateline Manufacturing Alliance (SMA) Signing Day for the first time.

Preventive maintenance, robotics service programs, and strategic parts stocking help manufacturers cut unplanned downtime and extend automation asset life Integrion Automation has expanded its Field Services program to help manufacturers reduce unplanned downtime, extend the life of automation assets, and stabilize production across automated systems and robotic cells. The enhanced offering is built for operations leaders who need higher throughput, more predictable performance, and lower total cost of ownership from their automation investments. Unplanned downtime on automated lines often results from preventable issues like wear, fatigue, or outdated software. Without structured maintenance, plants risk costly repairs, and production delays. Integrion’s Field Services program turns reactive repairs into scheduled maintenance through a data‑driven model focused on proactive inspections, robotics support, and rapid‑response service. The Field Services process begins with a comprehensive equipment assessment in which Integrion field service engineers evaluate system condition, operating environment, usage patterns, and service history. From this baseline, the team develops a tailored maintenance plan coordinated around production schedules to minimize disruption. Services can include routine inspections, mechanical and electrical adjustments, software and control backups, calibration and alignment, wear‑part replacement, and safety and compliance checks. The Field Services team then executes the plan through scheduled site visits, detailed reporting, and ongoing coordination with plant leadership so maintenance remains consistent, documented, and aligned with operational and financial goals. A dedicated robotics preventive maintenance program is integrated directly into Integrion’s Field Services to address the specific requirements of robotic cells within automated lines. Using condition‑based maintenance principles, Integrion leverages inspection results and historical service trends to identify issues before they become failures. This enables customers to replace parts at optimal intervals, avoid cascading failures and secondary damage, extend asset life, and improve reliability compared to reactive, break‑fix approaches that only respond after production has already been interrupted. To further reduce outage duration, Integrion pairs its maintenance expertise with a proactive critical‑parts strategy. Many extended outages are driven not by the complexity of the repair, but by waiting for parts; every hour lost to parts availability is an hour of lost production. Integrion maintains strategic inventories of critical spare parts and consumables based on customer equipment profiles and historical usage, enabling technicians to arrive prepared and complete most repairs in a single visit. This supports faster response times, fewer repeat visits, shorter outages, lower expedited shipping costs, and more stable production, making parts readiness a core element of Integrion’s uptime‑focused service model.

Three new members of KION GROUP AG’s Supervisory Board elected Supervisory Board and Executive Board proposals approved with majority vote Dividend of € 0.62 per share to be paid out Contract of Michael Larsson, President KION IAS and ITS Americas, extended until December 2029 World trade is more interconnected than ever, and supply chains and trade routes around the globe are extremely complex, with countless of items moving per day. A sophisticated and vulnerable orchestra that needs a conductor. At the 2026 Annual General Meeting of KION GROUP AG, shareholders were shown that KION is present at every point in the world’s supply chains: in factories, warehouses, ports, and logistics centers, as a driving force in its industry. KION combines all elements of modern supply chains In his speech, KION’s CEO Rob Smith looked back to the business performance of financial year 2025 and referred to the company’s and its brands’ strong heritage: “KION’s roots stretch back more than 200 years. That’s 200 years of excellence, innovation, and the trust of our customers. And for the past 20 years, we have been shaping the future of supply chains under the name KION”. In the third decade of its journey, the company is now on its way to becoming “The Supply Chain Solutions Company”, with its business combining all elements of modern supply chains: industrial trucks, automation, robotics, software, and physical AI. ”Our people, our technology, and our ecosystem partnerships give us the strength to drive innovation and seize new opportunities — in a market that is evolving at incredible speed,” Smith added. Three new members of the Supervisory Board elected Another important item on the day’s agenda was the election of new members to KION GROUP AG’s Supervisory Board. The members of the Board Dr. Alexander Dibelius, Kui Jiang and Dr. Shaojun Sun resigned from their positions with effect from the end of the Annual General Meeting. “On behalf of the Supervisory Board, I would like to express my gratitude to Dr. Alexander Dibelius, Kui Jiang and Dr. Shaojun Sun for their valuable contributions to KION’s journey during their respective tenures,” says Mohsen Sohi, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of KION GROUP AG. “Alexander Dibelius is our longest-serving board member and spent 19 years with the company and its predecessor. As one of KION’s ‘founding fathers’ he played a key role in laying the groundwork for the group that is becoming the Supply Chain Solutions Company now. Kui Jiang’s and Shaojun Sun’s years of service are closely linked to our trusting partnership with our anchor shareholder Weichai Power – a best practice example for a longstanding German-Chinese cooperation benefitting both parties mutually.” Based on a corresponding proposal by the Nomination Committee, three internationally experienced senior executives were elected with majority vote to the Supervisory Board: Dr. Ralf Krieger (Independent Management Consultant), Decheng Wang (Deputy Chairman of Weichai Holding Group), and Zhao Jin (Vice General Manager of Weichai Holding Group). “I am very pleased that we have succeeded in attracting these three highly qualified individuals for the Supervisory Board who will effectively strengthen the body in the performance of its duties,” says Mohsen Sohi. Supervisory Board and Executive Board proposals approved with majority vote More than 79 percent of the share capital was present at the Annual General Meeting. During the Annual General Meeting, the majority of shareholders approved all of the proposals put forward by the Supervisory Board and Executive Board, including the dividend distribution of € 0.62 per share, which corresponds to a payout ratio of around 35 percent. Contract of Board Member Michael Larsson extended KION’s Supervisory Board has extended the contract of Michael Larsson, President KION IAS and ITS Americas until December 2029. “Michael Larsson has successfully driven forward Dematic’s development during recent years”, says Mohsen Sohi. “The Supervisory Board is convinced that with his leadership and deep industry knowledge, Dematic will be positioned to an even larger extent in the supply chain orchestration space, and together with the brands Linde Material Handling and STILL jointly serve the fast-growing start-up automation market.”

Preventive maintenance, robotics service programs, and strategic parts stocking help manufacturers cut unplanned downtime and extend automation asset life Integrion Automationhas expanded its Field Services program to help manufacturers reduce unplanned downtime, extend the life of automation assets, and stabilize production across automated systems and robotic cells.

Strengthening the logistics network in Southern Europe Faster delivery thanks to improved cut-off times Lower CO2 emissions and optimised logistics costs Jungheinrich Service & Parts is strengthening its logistics network in Southern Europe. With the opening of the new Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) in Milan on 13 April 2026, the company is expanding its regional spare parts supply and setting another milestone for efficient, sustainable and cost-optimised after-sales logistics. The aim is to raise service levels, shorten response times and, at the same time, realise potential for both environmental and economic efficiency. The RDC Milan is a central component of the strategic development of the international Customer Service Logistics Network in Europe. Under the logistical leadership of Frank Knobloch, Director Logistics Jungheinrich, it will in future be responsible for supplying the Italian market with spare parts. Thanks to its regional proximity to the market, delivery routes will be shortened and the availability of spare parts in day-to-day operations further improved. Significantly improved cut-off times for technician orders Thanks to its regional proximity to the market, customers benefit from noticeably improved cut-off times. Orders can now be received into the evening and still be processed for dispatch on the same day. This enables faster delivery to service technicians and customers and significantly increases responsiveness in day-to-day operations. “With the RDC Milan, we are bringing our spare parts logistics closer to the market and laying the foundations for improved service levels. Later cut-off times and shorter distances enable us to respond more quickly and reliably to customer requirements,” says Kevin Strominski, Logistics Network Project Manager at Jungheinrich. Focus on sustainability: reduction in CO2 emissions A key advantage of the new site is the reduction in CO2 emissions: by shifting transport volumes to shorter distances, the RDC Milan makes a measurable contribution to Jungheinrich’s sustainability targets. The optimised network structure significantly reduces transport-related emissions compared to the previous supply solution. Lower logistics costs through an optimised network structure In addition to service and environmental aspects, the RDC Milan also delivers economic benefits. The optimised regional distribution reduces transport, handling and process costs whilst simultaneously increasing the predictability and stability of the supply chain. More efficient structures and demand-driven stock positioning enable sustainable cost advantages to be achieved in the long term – without compromising on quality or availability. A further step towards future-proof spare parts logistics With the RDC Milan, Jungheinrich is laying the foundations for modern, scalable and sustainable spare parts logistics in Southern Europe. The new site improves operational performance whilst supporting strategic objectives in the areas of customer focus, efficiency and sustainability.
