GSG AMR, the asset management and remarketing division of GSG Financial, announced today the addition of Chris Meeks as SVP, Lessor Relations. Meeks will be responsible for supporting current relationships and expanding AMR’s footprint, sharing veteran expertise with both equipment finance companies and end users to increase the economic value of their material handling and transportation assets. Meeks will report to President Andrew A. Bender and operate out of Atlanta, Georgia.
“Chris Meeks is a great addition to our team with strong equipment finance and asset management experience,” said Bender. “I’ve known Chris for nearly 10 years and during that time he’s demonstrated an ability to build strong personal relationships and deliver on his commitments. We share a vision of a new type of asset management firm and he will help GSG AMR execute on that vision.”
“From lease originations, to syndications and end of lease remarketing, I am fortunate to have had the privilege to work on all sides of the equipment finance business,” said Meeks. “I have a unique understanding of how all these areas affect each other in a lease life cycle. I am truly excited about the creative value GSG AMR brings to our marketplace that has not existed until now.”
