In his new role, Lichtenberg is responsible for overseeing the business unit’s growth in revenue and productivity globally. “As one of the top manufacturers of industrial battery chargers for the material handling industry, AMETEK Prestolite Power takes pride in its leadership not just at an industry level, but at an executive level as well,” comments Tony Ciampitti, Vice President and General Manager, AMETEK Power Systems and Instruments. “James is a proven leader with keen business acumen, and we are pleased to promote him to Business Unit Manager.” Lichtenberg joined AMETEK in 2005 as Service Manager for its HDR Power Systems and later served as Director of Client Services for its Solidstate Controls business unit before returning to HDR Power Systems in 2013 as Director, where he successfully managed all business operations and sales strategies worldwide. Lichtenberg has more than 16 years of industry experience, including serving as National Project Manager for Emerson Network Power in Columbus, Ohio, where he was a Test Engineer and Regional Project Manager.  Lichtenberg resides in Pataskala, Ohio, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from ETI Technical College in Cleveland, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Tiffin (Ohio) University.
