EVO Trillium opens first compressed natural gas station in Tolleson, Ariz.

EVO Trillium, LLC , the joint venture partnership between EVO CNG and  Trillium CNG™, is pleased to announce the grand opening of their new compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station located at 8301 W. Sherman Street, Tolleson, Arizona.

The station is open to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It has four dual hose dispensers with NGV-1 and T-5000 nozzles and features Trillium CNG’s proprietary fast-fill hydraulic intensifier compressor. The station has been designed to accommodate Class 8 tractors and trailers, as well as smaller vehicles.

“EVO CNG is extremely excited about the opportunity to work with Swift Transportation and Sheehy Express in their efforts to become clean fleets,” said Danny Cuzick, President of EVO CNG.  “We recognize its pioneering efforts in the field of alternative fuels and look forward to working with Trillium, Swift and Sheehy in their clean fuel endeavors.”

“We are pleased that EVO Trillium has built a CNG station near our main terminal facilities in Phoenix. We plan to fuel a significant number of trucks at this location,” states Jerry Moyes, CEO of Swift Transportation. “The environmental advantages, as well as significant economic savings that come with natural gas powered trucks, contribute to cleaner air, improving customer satisfaction and a stronger corporate bottom line.”

“The opening of the EVO Tolleson location is key element in Sheehy Express vision to run an all CNG fleet from the Midwest to the Phoenix area”, said John Sheehy, owner of Sheehy Enterprises.  “This location enables us to run a high speed freight lane from key markets in Phoenix to Chicago.  Adding additional fueling locations is making nationwide operations on CNG possible and practical.  Sheehy Enterprises applauds the opening of this new station and congratulates EVO for their leadership and success in making alternative fuels a reality.”

“We strongly support Swift Transportation and Sheehy Enterprises decision to add compressed natural gas (CNG) powered trucks to their fleets,” said Mary Boettcher, Trillium CNG president.  “It is a privilege to be working with EVO CNG, Swift Transportation and Sheehy Enterprises who are committed to natural gas as a fuel source to power the nation’s heavy-duty fleets.”
