Purolator International is pleased to announce the promotion of Frank Jacketti to the position of district manager, Eastern U.S., overseeing branch offices in Boston, Buffalo, Farmingdale, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Newark.  Jacketti has been with Purolator International for 17 years, most recently serving as Branch Manager in Philadelphia.  In this new role, Jacketti will continue to work out of the Philadelphia District office.

As a district manager, Jacketti has overall responsibility for the growth of Purolator International within the Eastern district of the United States. He’s responsible for developing new business, overseeing account management, and promoting Purolator throughout his region.  He will report to Sean Kelly, Vice President, Field Sales & Services.

“Frank’s long-standing tenure at Purolator International has uniquely qualified him to take on this new role. He brings a wealth of experience in sales, operations, regulatory affairs and customs brokerage,” said Kelly.  “As we continue to expand our customer base and services across the U.S., it’s important to have strong leadership for the sales and support staff in each region. Frank is just that man to inspire his teams and lead his region to many successes.”

Purolator International, the leading provider of cross-border logistics between the U.S. and Canada, has expanded significantly over the past three years as B2B and B2C trade with Canada continues to grow.  Purolator International has opened 20 new branches since the beginning of 2011 and is now in 33 U.S. markets.

“I am very excited to be taking on this new role at Purolator,” said Jacketti.  “I will work diligently with my teams to carry on Purolator’s well-earned reputation for providing superior service and the unmatched expertise while shipping to, from and within Canada that our customers have come to expect from Purolator.”

Jacketti has won numerous awards throughout his career at Purolator International, including the Outstanding Achievement in Sales Excellence, Leader’s Club, President’s Club and Service Quality Operations Manager of the Year.  He is a member of the Council of Supply Chain and Management Professionals (CSCMP) and the Canadian American Chamber of Commerce.

A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, Jacketti received a Bachelor of Science in Business Logistics Management as well as a M.B.A.  He is an active member of the Penn State Alumni Association.  He resides in Phoenixville, PA with his wife and three children, where he is active in community planning, and enjoys coaching local baseball and softball youth programs.
