CLARK Material Handling Company has reason to celebrate. CLARK was presented with the Kentucky Governor's Safety & Health Award for both of its Kentucky facilities over the past week. It was a sixth time award celebration for CLARK's Aftermarket Parts Distribution Center in Louisville, KY and a first time award for CLARK's manufacturing and distribution center located in Lexington, KY. CLARK's facilities were recognized for working over a million hours combined at both locations, without a lost time accident. The Louisville, KY facility has worked over ten years without a lost time accident.
The Kentucky Labor Cabinet's Governor's Health & Safety Award Program is designed to Promote safety and health awareness in workplaces throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky, encourage good sound work practices and recognize those companies that have achieved significant reductions in injuries and illnesses in their workplaces. "Everyone at CLARK has safety as
their top priority," said Dennis Lawrence, CLARK's President & CEO. "Receiving the Governor's Health & Safety award six times for our Louisville facility and for the first time for our Lexington facility is quite an accomplishment.
