CubiScan expands to address global product demand

Quantronix, Inc., maker of CubiScan dimensioning (cubing) and weighing systems, announces the completion of its new 18,300 square foot manufacturing facility. The new site, which is adjacent to Quantronix’ existing headquarters, includes nearly 6,000 sq./ft. dedicated to research and development, engineering and technical support. These functions, as well as product manufacturing, were previously located at a remote site. “This beautiful new building will enhance the way we work with one another and with our customers. It will increase productivity, efficiency and manufacturing capacity, and it reflects our values as a company and the commitment we’ve made to the markets we serve.” says president Clark Skeen. The new building will support CubiScan’s growing domestic and international business, which now numbers over 6,000 installations worldwide and 15 global distributors.
About CubiScan: Quantronix was founded in 1987 and is located near Salt Lake City, Utah. The company’s business is in the development, manufacture and sale of automated dimension scanning (cubing) products under the CubiScan® brand name. Quantronix has established itself as a worldwide leader in cubing/dimensioning technology for supply chain and freight industry applications.
