From 2004 to 2008, Scricco served as president of Avaya Global Services and as senior vice president, manufacturing, logistics & procurement of Avaya Inc., a global provider of communications systems and software for enterprises.  Prior to that, he served as president and CEO of Arrow Electronics, Inc., one of the world’s largest distributors of electronics components and computer products and a supply chain services provider. Scricco spent most of his career as a senior P&L manager in five different industries: data communications; consumer appliances; laboratory equipment and supplies; semiconductor distribution and telecommunications. His P&L experience ranges from being a CEO of a venture capital-backed technology start-up to the CEO of a $13 billion publicly traded Fortune 200 company. Scricco has led product businesses including GE; Proteon; Inglis Ltd., Whirlpool Corporation’s Canadian subsidiary; and Fisher Products Group, one of the three groups at Fisher Scientific as well as service businesses including Arrow Electronics and Avaya Global Services, one of Avaya’s two businesses.  Earlier in his career, he served as general manager of various operations at General Electric Company and spent the first six years of his career at The Boston Consulting Group. “Fran brings a wealth of knowledge to Wastequip”, said Marty Bryant, CEO for Wastequip.  “Not only has he successfully positioned operations for long-term success, but also he has rapidly and profitably grown businesses by focusing on customer needs.  His experience driving growth through new channels, new markets and new products, as well as his experience in integrating acquisitions, will be invaluable for our company.” Scricco has been a full time director since his retirement from Avaya in November 2008 and is currently on the board of directors for Masonite, Inc., Sleep Innovations, Inc., Sirva, Inc., Tembec, Inc. and was recently appointed to the Visteon, Inc. board. He received an MBA with distinction from Columbia University and is an alumnus of Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where he earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering with distinction.
