enVista named to top workplaces list for 2012
Consulting firm makes list based on voluntary employee satisfaction survey results

enVista has been named to “The Indianapolis Star Top Workplaces” list for 2012. This list highlights the best places to work in the Central Indiana area based upon a voluntary and anonymous employee survey. A total of 98 companies participated in the program and 65 companies have been selected for the Top Workplace award. enVista was ranked number 27 on the list of top small companies.

“It is a real honor to be included on this list, especially since our associates were the judges,” said Jim Barnes, president and CEO of enVista. “At enVista, we have created a culture that is results-driven and balanced with a fun environment. We hire the best and brightest and we invest in our people through comprehensive training programs and continuous recognition. It is a privilege to work with people that are so passionate and dedicated to our company’s mission and culture.”

This news comes alongside enVista’s announcement of plans to expand its Carmel, Indiana-based headquarters, creating up to 96 new jobs by 2016. enVista will invest $1.2 million to expand and renovate an additional 10,000 square feet of office space at the company’s current facility. As part of the project, enVista will also purchase and equip new information technology hardware and software. The company, which currently employs 62 associates in the Carmel location, has already begun hiring information technology, engineering, accounting and human resources associates.

“We take associate engagement very seriously at enVista because we realize we can only sustain our company success and clients’ success when our associates are really passionate about their work,” said Stephanie Wynder, human capital manager at enVista. “Internal surveys are conducted regularly and we create action items and implement programs based on that associate feedback. We believe that open communication is imperative for learning and growing as a team while maintaining the enVista culture.”
