Nissan Forklift Corporation announces the promotion of Eduardo Torres to director of Latin America sales.
Bringing more than ten years of sales and management experience in the materials handling industry to the position, Torres is responsible for developing the Latin American markets for sales and parts, developing new territories, assigning and developing new distributors and directing new sales strategies and programs.
Torres began working with Nissan Forklift in 2000 as an aftermarket supervisor. He has held various management positions within the company, and prior to his promotion was the Latin America sales and marketing senior manager.
“We are happy to announce Eduardo’s promotion,” said James J. Radous III, vice president, sales and marketing, Nissan Forklift. “His experience in management and sales as well as his positive attitude and professionalism make him a valuable asset in growing Nissan Forklift in Latin America.”
Torres earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from University of Mexican State and is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration at the same university in a combined program with Berkeley University. He resides with his wife and four children in Toluca, Mexico.
