Houston-based manufacturer Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America Inc. (MCFA) recently continued its partnership with Houston Habitat for Humanity in an effort to help local families achieve their dream of home ownership. This time, employees rolled up their sleeves to help construct a new home in the Milby Park neighborhood of northeast Houston.

Volunteers worked together to construct the frame and roof of the new house. The home is expected to be completed by the end of July.

Additionally, MCFA employees, Chavauna Carrier and her family were honored along with three other Houston Habitat recipients and their sponsors at a Home Dedication ceremony in Umland Park Community. Last November, nearly 60 MCFA employees worked to construct the frame, build the roof, and install windows for the Carrier family’s home in South Houston.
