Atlas Van Lines announces organizational changes to support growth initiatives

Atlas Van Lines announced it has made several key organizational changes in support of the company's enhanced growth initiatives. Five staffers have accepted new leadership positions, including two who were newly appointed to vice president-level positions. The five personnel changes at Atlas Van Lines are as follows:

  • Ryan McConnell has been promoted to vice president, corporate marketing. He will lead a revitalized marketing team that will set direction and implement strategic marketing plans.
  • Phil Wahl has been promoted to vice president of Avail Resource Management, a subsidiary of Atlas Van Lines. He will develop and lead move management services, including customer service, corporate accounts, and coordination with the U.S. military during the evolution of the new Defense Personal Property Program.                                              
  • David Coulter has been appointed vice president, Special Transportation Group (STG) sales. Coulter will oversee sales for STG, which is responsible for transporting electronics, exhibits, store fixtures, fine art and other cargo that requires special handling.                Dennie Lynn, senior vice president of transportation services administration, will assume leadership of the Smart Move operational infrastructure in addition to his current responsibilities with household goods and special products. 
  • Mark Spiehler, senior vice president of account/agent/claims services, will  assume leadership of agency development efforts. This will include providing direction related to recruiting and development of Atlas agents.
