Grote Industries announced that it has appointed William Stone to lead its existing quality management team as quality director. Stone has 27 years of experience in OEM and tier-one automotive manufacturing environments, including 8 years in multi-site quality management roles. Stone also has significant expertise in lean manufacturing protocols, as well as ISO 9001, TS 16949, AS 9100 and ISO 14001 quality systems and is a Six Sigma black belt. Stone’s career has included engagements with Eaton, Kelsey-Hayes, Ford and GM.  He has also worked with Textron Fastening Systems and with Trans-Pro setting up quality systems throughout the U.S., Mexico and China.
