The Big Ass Fan Company named to Inc.'s 5000 for third consecutive year
Inc. magazine ranked The Big Ass Fan Company no. 2,497 on its third annual Inc. 5000 list, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a comprehensive look at one of the most important segments of the economy, America’s independent-minded entrepreneurs. Big Ass Fans is one of only two manufacturing companies in Lexington, and one of only 6 manufacturing companies in the state of Kentucky to earn a spot.
Big Ass Fans, a manufacturer of large diameter, low speed fans ranging in diameter from 6’-24’, has been included on the Inc. 5000 list since the list was founded in 2007. The Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage of revenue growth from 2005 through 2008.

Big Ass Fans new R&D facility in Lexington, Ky., was recently awarded LEED Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. In this new space, Big Ass Fans is able to conduct comprehensive fan performance testing including air velocity profiles, fatigue testing of fan assemblies and components, and prototype builds of the new, cutting-edge fan innovations
