Two safety directors from the ALL Family of Companies presented a well-received program at this year's Ohio Safety Congress, hosted by the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation Division of Safety & Hygiene and held from March 31 to April 2 at the Greater Columbus (OH) Convention Center. Al Haycraft, Safety Director of ALL Crane Rental Corp. of Columbus, Ohio, and Jason Thomas, Safety Director of ALL Crane & Equipment Rental of St. Albans, West Virginia, presented to 105 attendees. The presentation also included a demonstration of a complete daily safety inspection by a trained and certified crane operator and a discussion of worker safety when cranes are present on a job.
Established in 1927, the Ohio Safety Congress is a three-day annual event that helps businesses learn to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses, reduce workers' compensation claims costs, and meet training needs. The event usually attracts more than 5,000 participants.
