FedEx joins with China National Badminton Team and Greennovate Foundation to promote "Green Life" concept among students
Environmental awareness T-shirt Painting Contest held at a Guangzhou Primary School

FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. joined hands with the China National Badminton Team (CNBT) and Greennovate Foundation, to hold an Environmental Awareness T-shirt Painting Contest.  The contest, held at the English School affiliated with Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (ESAGDUFS) in Guangzhou, aims to increase environmental awareness among students.

Professionals from the Greennovate Foundation shared what "green" means to all attendees through interactive activities and educated students on how to protect the environment in their daily lives.  Students then painted their desired "green life" on t-shirts together with FedEx volunteers and CNBT athletes.  CNBT took part in this activity after finishing the Sudirman Cup in Guangzhou over the weekend.  "The environment is very important to all members of the National Badminton Team," said Coach Li Yongbo of CNBT.  "We are happy to team up with FedEx to increase environmental protection awareness among students."

"FedEx is committed to environmental protection and energy saving," said Catherine Lu, managing director of marketing, FedEx China.  "We are pleased to cooperate with the China National Badminton Team and Greennovate Foundation to make the environment top-of-mind."

FedEx, a proud sponsor of CNBT, has cooperated with the team not only in brand promotion, but also in giving back to the community through many programs.
