Systems Material Handling (SMH) is integrating the Port Coquitlam B.C. distribution center, it will be closed on Friday March 27 and will reopen on March 30, 2009. The 12,500 sq foot warehouse and offices are located just east of Vancouver and will stock over 10,000 part numbers. The warehouse will ship to B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, Nunavut, Yukon and the Northwest Territories.

The additional Canadian warehouse will allow SMH's customers to consolidate their orders and help to lower inventory levels and reduce freight costs.
