BtB Marketing Communications, a full-service business-to-business marketing agency that focuses on technology clients, is expanding its current interactive services capabilities by establishing an interactive division to be headed by Jim Hickman, a former art director at the agency whose most recent position was as Creative Director with GX Creative Communications (Austin, Texas). In addition to web design services, the new division will offer clients expertise in online channels including Search Engine Optimization, social networking/advertising, viral marketing and performance metering.
"While Jim has an extensive background in creative services and design, it is his understanding of web technologies, platforms and strategies that has made him successful in creating better, more efficient and valuable online assets for clients of all sizes and budgets," said Geoff Dunkak, vice president and creative director, BtB Marketing. "Under his direction, BtB's interactive services division will be able to offer our clients a greater range of services but still work to our strength, which is bringing creative, business-minded solutions to the marketing plans of our clients."
BtB has offered web site design, web advertising design and media placement for years, but in establishing this division and bringing on Hickman, the agency is making a commitment to providing a greater breadth of services in this area.
Hickman has more than 10 years of experience in the advertising/creative services industry, In addition to his years at GX and BtB, he has worked as an interactive designer for EURO RSCG DSW Partners and Art Director with iD Communications, both located in Salt Lake City, Utah. His clients have included North Texas Tollway Authority, Michael Angelo's, REAL Software, Southwestern University, Red Lobster, Intel, Sports Instruments, Cree, and Raytheon-JPS Communications
