Innovative Industrial Products, LLC (IIP) announced recently that a patent has been issued for its ergonomically designed spinner "knob," which was initially developed for use on Hyster and Yale forklifts.

"Each year, thousands of costly claims are recorded for 'repetitive motion injuries' and countless man-hours are lost. Our customers have continually informed us of their reduced injuries and increased productivity because of our unique ergonomic design," said IIP senior's member, Tim Strecker Ph.D.

IIP's product is a bearing loaded, textured palm pad that is integratedinto the inside circumference of a forklift's steering wheel in an unobtrusive way. This new design meets or exceeds all OSHA requirements for forklift wheel attachments.
