After five years of service as president of Houston-based Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America Inc. ("MCFA"), Mr. Hideaki Ninomiya will be returning to a new assignment at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries ("MHI") in Japan and will be replaced by Mr. Shigeru Tanemura, effective October 1, 2008.
During his service, Mr. Ninomiya placed increased focus on employee and customer satisfaction while improving business planning processes, manufacturing operations and brand/distribution strategies. As a result, Mr. Ninomiya made significant progress in preparing the company for the future.
Replacing Mr. Ninomiya as president of MCFA will be Mr. Shigeru Tanemura. Mr. Tanemura currently serves as Senior General Manager of the MHI General Machinery & Special Vehicle headquarters in Sagamihara, Japan. He has 32 years of experience in the forklift business and joined MHI in March 2006. Prior to that time, Mr. Tanemura had nearly 30 years of experience working in forklift development -- including marketing, product planning, design/test engineering, manufacturing and after sales activities.
