Systems Material Handling Co. (SMH), a distributor of quality replacement parts and accessories for the material handling industry, has promoted Jerod Newcomb to New Product Development Manager.  Located at the Olathe, Kansas headquarters, Newcomb will have direct responsibility over the Research & Development department in both the Olathe and Grayslake facilities.  He will primarily focus on identifying and establishing new programs or product lines based on market research to ensure the continued growth of SMH. Newcomb began his career at SMH in February of 1999 in the Warehouse Department, and has held several positions of increased responsibility during his tenure.  Jerod's most recent position of Product Manager has assisted in a smooth transition to his new role as New Product Development Manager.  For more information, visit www.smhco.com.
