Bosch Rexroth Corporation recently announced the appointment of Jeff Blackman to the position of Vice President - Automation Sales effective July 1, 2007. In his new position, Blackman will be responsible for the Linear Motion and Assembly Technologies, Electric Drives and Controls, and Pneumatics Groups as well as the semicon and medical market segments in the United States. Blackman will report to Berend Bracht, President and CEO of Bosch Rexroth Corporation.

Blackman started his career with Bosch Automation Technology in 1980, as a Service and Sales Engineer in Leicester, UK. In 1986, he became Sales Manager, Electronic Drives and Controls and retained that position until 1993, when he was promoted to National Sales Manager, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Electrical & Mechanical Products in the UK.
