The Linear Motion and Assembly Technologies business unit of Bosch Rexroth Corporation recently named Tony Barr product marketing manager for its VarioFlow™ flexible chain conveyor system. In his new position, Barr is responsible for all strategic and market planning related to the VarioFlow program.
In his new capacity, Barr will focus on development of the VarioFlow brand, establishment of market awareness and acceptance, target account identification and penetration, sales channel development, market analysis, and positioning and promotion strategies. He will report to Greg Fisher, Director, Product Management and Engineering.
"Tony brings a high level of marketing and product management expertise, particularly in the packaging sector, as a result of his previous work experience and advanced educational training," notes Fisher. "Tony will work closely with our colleagues in Germany to ensure a cohesive worldwide growth program for the VarioFlow offering, which represents tremendous growth potential for Bosch Rexroth. We believe that Tony possesses the skills necessary to lead the program to the success we expect to achieve."
