Flexible Material Handling completes MAXX acquisition

Flexible Material Handling (FMH), a division of AXIA Inc., has completed the acquisition of MAXX Material Handling LLC. During the acquisition process, FMH has actively marketed the full line of MAXX Rigid Conveyor Systems in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

"Customers can now single-source their truck loading and unloading needs," said Michael G. Siddons, FMH president and general manager. "Our product base now serves fluid loading applications ranging from light- to heavy-duty and from low- to high-volume. We understand the very real challenges our customers are facing and, with MAXX, we will continue to strengthen our product and service offerings to meet those needs."

Cleveland-based FMH markets and manufactures a complete line of Nestaflex flexible gravity and power-driven conveyors. Major retailers use FMH systems for truck loading and unloading at retail store sites and distribution centers. FMH systems are also used in parcel/post, packaging and light-manufacturing facilities.

MAXX manufactures a line of rigid conveyors for loading and unloading trucks at manufacturing and distribution centers. Products include MAXXREACH telescopic conveyors, MAXXBOOM rigid drive-out extendable conveyors, the ROUTELOADER single-boom extendable, MINIMAXX short-boom telescopic conveyors, and the new, cost-effective MAXXLINK two-stage gravity conveyor system.
