FKI Logistex Alvey Systems, an FKI Logistex member company and integrator of automated material flow solutions, recently announced the appointment of George Reyher as account manager, Latin America.
In his new position, Reyher will focus his efforts on refining and expanding the company's presence in the Latin American marketplace, including its preparations for the launch of a new international office in South America. Reyher reports to Martin Clark, director of sales, international and newspaper operations.
Prior to joining Alvey Systems, Reyher held positions with the Krones Group, an international developer and manufacturer of filing and packaging machines and technology, and with Barry-Wehmiller, a provider of labeling, filling, capping, and other packaging-related systems. Born in Chile and a former resident of El Salvador, Reyher is fluent in English and Spanish. He holds a BS and an MS in Industrial Engineering, both from Iowa State University.
"George's expertise and firsthand knowledge of the Latin American market will be a valuable asset for Alvey as we expand and strengthen our business operations there," said Tom Roberts, Alvey Systems director of field operations. "Under his direction, Alvey will be able to leverage its strengths and capabilities to meet growing international market demand for efficient palletizing solutions."
