Cimcorp’s Derek Rickard and Don Heelis recognized as 2015 Provider Pros to Know

Cimcorp Automation, Ltd. (Cimcorp), a manufacturer and integrator of turnkey robotic gantry-based order fulfillment and tire handling solutions, announces Derek Rickard, distribution systems sales manager, and Don Heelis, Tire and AGV systems Sales Manager, have been named to Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s  2016 Provider Pros to Know list. This is Rickard’s second year in a row being honored with this award. Rickard’s and Heelis’ combined 40+ years of experience helped them stand out among the 350+ entries for the Supply & Demand Chain Executive 2016 Pros to Know Award.

In response to being a on the Pros to Know list, Rickard said, “With more than 15 years of experience in this industry, I have worked closely with Cimcorp’s customers to develop robotic order fulfillment systems that increase efficiency, accuracy and throughput for warehouses and distribution centers around the world. Words cannot express how incredible it is to be honored two years in a row for the work that I’m doing on behalf of Cimcorp.”

The Pros to Know Awards recognize supply chain executives, and manufacturing and non-manufacturing enterprises that are leading initiatives to help prepare their companies’ supply chains for the significant challenges of today’s business climate. This year’s list includes the 2016 Provider Pros to Know—individuals from software firms and service providers, consultancies or academia, who have helped their supply chain clients or the supply chain community at large prepare to meet these challenges—and Practitioner Pros, who do the same within their own companies.

Whether working with production facilities, warehouse or distribution centers, Cimcorp recognizes that each sector has individual needs, as well as the peculiarities of each individual company within each of those sectors. Cimcorp will develop innovative automated, robotic picking solutions that are flexible and scalable, such as an end-to-end system or islands of automation, to help each of its customers increase efficiencies, improve their bottom line and stay competitive in their markets.

In response to his first recognition, Heelis said, “As a 25 year veteran in this industry, it is an honor to see my name on the 2016 Pros to Know list. I enjoy the role I play in developing unique solutions that best fit my clients in the industry. Whether it’s an island of automation or the Cimcorp Dream Factory, I‘m confident that the solutions are engineered to optimize material flow and provide our clients with the competitive edge they need.”
