Cascade 120G &140G Bale Clamps are designed to securely handle any type of baled product; including synthetic textiles, hay, recycled clothing, recycled paper and pulp products. Engineered for durability, the frame and arms are protected from ground wear by hardened wear strips. This is especially important when driving on uneven terrain. A bumper provides protection from debris and impact to the cylinders and hydraulic connections (the bumper is standard on recycling clamp models, and is an option on Pulp Bale models). When handling recycled products, whether its aluminum cans, plastic containers, clothing or paper; bits and pieces have a tendency to break loose from the bale, making this additional protection a valuable defense in keeping debris from becoming lodged where it can contaminate and cause premature wear.

“During our R&D testing, in a variety of  pulp and recycling applications in the USA, Portugal, Germany and Sweden, the clamp has proven to be extremely well received and durable,” said Brad Vandehey, Cascade Product Manager.

Full width UHMW bearings provide maximum strength and arm support for optimal clamp performance. Integrated hydraulics, are also protected below the upper frame of the clamp, and provide sideshifting functionality, flow control for equal arm movement and pressure protection.  An optional pinless articulating arm produces even clamp force distribution and optimal alignment to the bales.  The arm spring provides easier initial engagement with the bales. The thin low profile of the arms not only enable damage-free knifing between tightly stacked bales, but maximizes driver visibility without sacrificing strength.
